The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Segundo Johans the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Atlético Talleres protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Segundo Johans had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atlético Talleres! The excitement rose when C. A. Club Atlético Talleres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tugay Özyurek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Braulio Gil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Abechuco in the 85th minute. A throw-in in the 86th minute of the game was made by Felix Palban with Sixto Foro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
