Igor Bittor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Gaztea in the 10th minute of play. Olimpo's Ludomil Wasikowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Pacho in the 11th minute of play. Bañitos's Rolando Luar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ludomil Wasikowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Igor Bittor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomero Innocenzio's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Bernabe Laurendi's late challenge caught a Olimpo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Bittor came out of the goal and Baldomero Innocenzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Olimpo's Ludomil Wasikowski got control of the ball when Raul Pacho tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Bañitos getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Rolando Luar hit a great ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
