Evelio Milian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Florin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafal Jakubiak took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Platon. Ruperto Platon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Chelsea Football Club's Evelio Milian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Chelsea Football Club from getting a goal against them. Chelsea Football Club were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after GrondofiSu FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Uriel Ralondo took the corner. The corner ended in Benedicto Havier almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GrondofiSu FC's Ruperto Platon did a great save. A collision led to Chelsea Football Club getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Shi Sheng Ying hit a great ball. Evelio Milian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Raitin in the 30th minute. GrondofiSu FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Enrique Ramirez in the 32nd minute. Enrique Ramirez made a great header on GrondofiSu FC's corner, it was just that Chelsea Football Club's Evelio Milian managed to reach the ball for a save. After 34 minutes GrondofiSu FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Uriel Ralondo who took care of the corner kick. 37 minutes into the match, GrondofiSu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafal Jakubiak came free, but Ruperto Platon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Rafal Jakubiak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Berbiz was the one to do the kick off. Rafal Jakubiak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruperto Platon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. The GrondofiSu FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruperto Platon should have stopped the shot. Chelsea Football Club's Cleto Firmin was substituted for Benedicto Havier. Chelsea Football Club's Silvestre Porfiro was substituted for Aureliano Arnau. If Firme Verga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. Ruperto Platon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelsea Football Club. GrondofiSu FC's Ruperto Platon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save GrondofiSu FC from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute of the match Chelsea Football Club got a corner. GrondofiSu FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Uriel Ralondo ran over to the corner to take the kick. GrondofiSu FC's Ruperto Platon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Firme Verga in the 90th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Cleto Firmin put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of Ruperto Platon. The GrondofiSu FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chelsea Football Club's performance. The match ended with a win for Chelsea Football Club.
