Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Deunoro in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruperto Platon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute Caballeritos del Baile were awarded a corner. Marcelo Peio went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Caballeritos del Baile's corner Marcelo Peio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ruperto Platon quite easily take care of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Florin came free, but Angelo Urtsua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Caballeritos del Baile getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Luisito Gaizkine hit a great ball. Benito Abella made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Caballeritos del Baile's Rasmus Kena. The supporters of GrondofiSu FC booed when Caballeritos del Baile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Deunoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Eugène Meissonnier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Caballeritos del Baile's Sebastian Matei seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sebastian Matei the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Caballeritos del Baile protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sebastian Matei had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 34th minute, one of Caballeritos del Baile:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caballeritos del Baile. When the match had been going on for 37 minutes, GrondofiSu FC's Enrique Ramirez got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Angelo Urtsua. Angelo Urtsua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Florin in the 43rd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's Jairo Deunoro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruperto Platon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Berbiz made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Berbiz in the 51st minute of play forced Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Angelo Urtsua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Urtsua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Raitin in the 53rd minute of play. Jairo Deunoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ruperto Platon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafino Hermelando hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Angelo Urtsua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Florin in the 65th minute of play. Angelo Urtsua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Laurendi in the 84th minute of play. After 88th play minutes Jairo Deunoro shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Ruperto Platon and just under the crossbar into goal. Jairo Deunoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to GrondofiSu FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Antonio Raitin hit a great ball.
