The BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Xacintu should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Gerardo Florin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Epifanio Xacintu. That made the score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. In the 14thth minute of the game Ricard Delaney who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GrondofiSu FC's Ruperto Platon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute of the match BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS got a corner. GrondofiSu FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valeriu Dănălache ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 17th match minute, GrondofiSu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Che to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute of the match Valeriu Dănălache shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruperto Platon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Miguel Berbiz scored 3-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Epifanio Xacintu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the game, Eddie Van Halen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ruperto Platon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the match, GrondofiSu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Normando came free, but Ruperto Platon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. One of BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GrondofiSu FC:s goal. After 36 minutes, Lino Che mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GrondofiSu FC and the BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to GrondofiSu FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Lino Che hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricard Delaney in the 39th minute of play forced GrondofiSu FC's goalkeeper Ruperto Platon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruperto Platon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricard Delaney went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute Humberto Presebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Platon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Gerardo Florin scored to the left of an out of position Epifanio Xacintu, making the score, 5-3. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-3.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Berbiz to strike the kick off in the second half. Epifanio Xacintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Florin in the 53rd minute of play. Ramiro Leizarraga hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Enrique Ramirez struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Epifanio Xacintu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GrondofiSu FC. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Ricard Delaney got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 59 played minutes, BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS's Valeriu Dănălache shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruperto Platon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS reached it. In the 69thth minute of the game Gerardo Florin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS's Epifanio Xacintu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ruperto Platon acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 76th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Valeriu Dănălache. Ruperto Platon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Normando in the 79th minute of play. Ruperto Platon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricard Delaney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute Ricard Delaney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Platon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GrondofiSu FC's Ruperto Platon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save GrondofiSu FC from getting a goal against them. Ruperto Platon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Presebal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
