U21 Belarus's Timur Meleshko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velcho Tzintzov in the 3rd minute of play. Timur Meleshko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stoimen Neshov, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Miron Masarnovsky hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Timur Meleshko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Velcho Tzintzov in the 9th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Velislav Tzapov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, U21 Belarus's goal looked a bit too open when Samuil Bibin came free, but Timur Meleshko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velcho Tzintzov in the 12th minute of play forced U21 Belarus's goalkeeper Timur Meleshko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuil Bibin took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timur Meleshko. Timur Meleshko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 31 minutes into the match, U21 Bulgaria's goalkeeper Stoyadin Shahov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prohar Khramczankov. In the 36th minute Samuil Bibin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timur Meleshko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timur Meleshko came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Bulgaria's Velcho Tzintzov. But to his dismay, Velcho Tzintzov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 42nd minute, Samuil Bibin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Bulgaria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. U21 Belarus's Timur Meleshko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuil Bibin in the 47th minute of play. John Terry charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John Terry the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Trifon Patrikov took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Timur Meleshko to make any attempt to save it. 55 minutes into the match, U21 Belarus's goalkeeper Timur Meleshko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuil Bibin. Samuil Bibin scored 0-5 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timur Meleshko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th match minute, U21 Belarus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vseslav Andreichyk to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vseslav Andreichyk in the 65th minute of play forced U21 Bulgaria's goalkeeper Stoyadin Shahov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, U21 Bulgaria's Trifon Patrikov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. U21 Belarus's Timur Meleshko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Belarus from getting a goal against them. The supporters of U21 Bulgaria booed when U21 Belarus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrey Fedotov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuil Bibin during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, U21 Bulgaria's Samuil Bibin got a free kick in the 81st minute. U21 Belarus's Vseslav Andreichyk was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stoyadin Shahov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vseslav Andreichyk succeeded in the game's 85th minute to get real power on a long shot . U21 Bulgaria's Stoyadin Shahov hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-6! After 87 played minutes U21 Belarus got a freekick which was hit by Vadim Salei. The crowd rose to their feet as Velcho Tzintzov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Timur Meleshko. That made the score 1-7 in the 90 minute of play. U21 Bulgaria's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
