The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Sergio Goycochea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Zonta in the 6th minute of play. Caetano Monteiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bonifacio Laurin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Caetano Monteiro made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Eber Ludueña sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Caetano Monteiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nicasio Belmiro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 18th playminute. 22 minutes into the game, Egídio Lucas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Icoara Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guns And Roses the free kick. After some careless play in the Icoara Football Club defense, Nicasio Belmiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caetano Monteiro. The Icoara Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caetano Monteiro should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Icoara Football Club booed when Guns And Roses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Laurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Genílson de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Icoara Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genílson de Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Bonifacio Laurin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Caetano Monteiro. The goal made the score 4-0. Freddy Ovando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Monteiro having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Genílson de Queirós had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Goycochea. Guns And Roses's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Genílson de Queirós was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Caetano Monteiro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 5-1. With a little luck, Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro got control of the ball when Bishen Braga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicasio Belmiro came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Caetano Monteiro could save by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bonifacio Laurin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Caetano Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bishen Braga in the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Ovando came free, but Caetano Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enzo Oliverio took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caetano Monteiro. Caetano Monteiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. In the 57th minute, Nicasio Belmiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caetano Monteiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. 62 minutes into the match, Eber Ludueña had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caetano Monteiro. The Guns And Roses fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-1. Caetano Monteiro came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Guns And Roses's Nicasio Belmiro. But to his dismay, Nicasio Belmiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-1. Caetano Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Oliverio in the 95th minute of play. Eber Ludueña scored 14-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caetano Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guns And Roses's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
