After a defensive mix-up in Talcampeón FC's zone, Thiago Zonta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Larrañaga came out of the goal and Thiago Zonta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 played minutes Talcampeón FC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Halat. In the 36th minute, Rainerio Huidobro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caetano Monteiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 46 minutes into the match, Rainerio Huidobro notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro. Caetano Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Icoara Football Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Talcampeón FC were winning 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rainerio Huidobro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Talcampeón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rómulo Ventura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
