After a rather tough play, São Cristóvão F.C's Sidney Miranda got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in São Cristóvão F.C's zone, Rogério do Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adhemar Reis came out of the goal and Rogério do Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adhemar Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Passos in the 64th minute of the match. Adhemar Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério do Nascimento in the 69th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rogério do Nascimento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adhemar Reis was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Humberto Fonseca hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Délio Mineiro, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. In the 81st minute, Ricart Futebol Clube's Rogério do Nascimento dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Adhemar Reis made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Fred Passos sent off a good shot on target. 93 minutes into the match, São Cristóvão F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Passos came free, but Adhemar Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Adhemar Reis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. São Cristóvão F.C's Adhemar Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save São Cristóvão F.C from getting a goal against them. Ricart Futebol Clube played a much better game than São Cristóvão F.C and deserved their victory. The São Cristóvão F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
