The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Gustavo Trevisan got free with Hudson Vander in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hudson Vander came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Fluminense DF's Cauan Toscano. But to his dismay, Cauan Toscano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 11th minute, João Carlos Torres made a precise shot to the right of Hudson Vander. Volta Redonda F. Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Cauan Toscano took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Hudson Vander to make any attempt to save it. In the 19th minute, Cauan Toscano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hudson Vander. The goal made the score 4-0. In the 22nd minute, Paulinho Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the game, Cauan Toscano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Hudson Vander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Volta Redonda F. Clube's Hudson Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Carlos Torres in the 31st minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Volta Redonda F. Clube's goalkeeper Hudson Vander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Gustavo Trevisan. Jean Nunes made in the 43rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Frank Brodel immediately put the ball in play. Fluminense DF's Jonas Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton Medeiros in the 45th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cauan Toscano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hudson Vander was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cauan Toscano made a kick off. A collision led to Volta Redonda F. Clube getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. In the 56th minute Frank Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes Volta Redonda F. Clube got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Coutinho. Cauan Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Hudson Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Volta Redonda F. Clube getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Hudson Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauan Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the game, Natanael Barreto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fluminense DF fully deserved thier win.
