Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Agnaldo Vargas got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal Novaes in the 3rd minute of play forced Volta Redonda F. Clube's goalkeeper Hudson Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th match minute, Volta Redonda F. Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. Hudson Vander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agnaldo Vargas in the 8th minute. Agnaldo Vargas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hudson Vander firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Diego Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agnaldo Vargas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Hudson Vander made a huge save. Evandro Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Agnaldo Vargas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hudson Vander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Volta Redonda F. Clube's zone, Diego Cerezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hudson Vander came out of the goal and Diego Cerezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Paulinho Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Agnaldo Vargas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Hudson Vander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agnaldo Vargas's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Hudson Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agnaldo Vargas in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Diego Cerezo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hudson Vander. Diego Cerezo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. 45 minutes into the match, Volta Redonda F. Clube's goalkeeper Hudson Vander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agnaldo Vargas. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aírton Medeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Paulo Renato Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Renato Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Agnaldo Vargas sped through Volta Redonda F. Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hudson Vander. Nova Iguaçu MZFC made a substitution. Wilson Vidal replaced Jailson de Carvalho. In the 60th minute, Diego Cerezo made a precise shot to the right of Hudson Vander. Volta Redonda F. Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Agnaldo Vargas scored 7-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hudson Vander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Agnaldo Vargas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 78th minute Agnaldo Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Paulinho Coutinho fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Volta Redonda F. Clube's protests and gave Paulinho Coutinho a yellow card for diving instead. Paulinho Coutinho hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Agnaldo Vargas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Agnaldo Vargas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hudson Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Renato Souza in the 86th minute of the match. Volta Redonda F. Clube's Hudson Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agnaldo Vargas in the 90th minute of play. Hudson Vander came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Agnaldo Vargas. But to his dismay, Agnaldo Vargas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. In the 95th minute, Diego Cerezo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0.
