Hudson Vander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 7th minute Natã Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nico Neves made in the 9th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Natã Rosa. In the 12th play minute Natã Rosa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hudson Vander. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Volta Redonda F. Clube's zone, Edmílson Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hudson Vander came out of the goal and Edmílson Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hudson Vander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Natã Rosa went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute of the game Nico Neves made a throw-in which Natã Rosa played forward. 25 minutes into the match, Natã Rosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hudson Vander. Volta Redonda F. Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natã Rosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. With a little luck, Volta Redonda F. Clube's Hudson Vander got control of the ball when Natã Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hudson Vander was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmílson Vidal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 33 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P's Tomé Valadares got a free kick in the 38th minute. Edmílson Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Hudson Vander made a huge save. 46 minutes in the game, Edmílson Vidal dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natã Rosa was the one to do the kick off. Natã Rosa took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hudson Vander. Hudson Vander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Tiago Gabriel Gaspar's late challenge caught a Volta Redonda F. Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiago Gabriel Gaspar helped the player get up and apologised. The Merusca F&P fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Merusca F&P's Natã Rosa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Merusca F&P booed when Volta Redonda F. Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Ian Salles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Hudson Vander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The throw-in from Dieguinho Rossi in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Volta Redonda F. Clube's Teodoro Magalhães. 76 minutes into the game, Edmílson Vidal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Hudson Vander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Salles in the 82nd minute of play forced Volta Redonda F. Clube's goalkeeper Hudson Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 minutes of play, Merusca F&P's Natã Rosa made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hudson Vander was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the game, Natã Rosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Hudson Vander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
