After some careless play in the C.R. KRAKER 81 defense, Agnaldo Vargas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael do Valle. The C.R. KRAKER 81 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael do Valle should have stopped the shot. José Paulo Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 16 minutes, Dudu Queiroz made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. C.R. KRAKER 81's Ismael do Valle tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute Eliézer Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Agnaldo Vargas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael do Valle was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. KRAKER 81's Silvinho Cordeiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lauro Varela. Lauro Varela yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Diego Cerezo's late challenge caught a C.R. KRAKER 81's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Cerezo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Nova Iguaçu MZFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Diego Cerezo hit a great ball. Ismael do Valle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agnaldo Vargas's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. If Jailson de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Dudu Queiroz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. After the first half Nova Iguaçu MZFC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvinho Cordeiro was the one to do the kick off. Benê Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro Varela having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deivid Queirós in the 63rd minute of play forced C.R. KRAKER 81's goalkeeper Ismael do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 minutes of play, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Agnaldo Vargas made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael do Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ismael do Valle was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Agnaldo Vargas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 68 minute of play. Anselmo Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Ismael do Valle made a huge save. Lauro Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, C.R. KRAKER 81's Patrick Eger got a free kick in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Anselmo Batista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Ismael do Valle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ismael do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Cerezo in the 78th minute of the match. Ismael do Valle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 93 minutes into the match, Agnaldo Vargas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ismael do Valle, 1-9. The C.R. KRAKER 81 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nova Iguaçu MZFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
