A collision led to FÊNIX F.C. getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Arthur Loureiro hit a great ball. Alfredo Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arkadiusz Piatek in the 6th minute of the match. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind FÊNIX F.C.'s goalkeeper Alfredo Paraibano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arkadiusz Piatek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Paraibano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After 13 minutes FÊNIX F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fermin Martinez who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FÊNIX F.C.'s goalie and right to Uriel Santiago. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FÊNIX F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Arkadiusz Piatek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Utopía Muerta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arkadiusz Piatek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Paraibano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, FÊNIX F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Piatek came free, but Alfredo Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt Bouchard got free with Mano Hume in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, FÊNIX F.C.'s Arthur Loureiro got a free kick in the 29th minute. Utopía Muerta FC's Ildefonso Abalos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arthur Loureiro in the 32 minute of the game. Alfredo Paraibano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arkadiusz Piatek went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 35th match minute, FÊNIX F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Bouchard to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arkadiusz Piatek in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Paraibano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Utopía Muerta FC's Arkadiusz Piatek got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mano Hume showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Teixeira in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Utopía Muerta FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Arkadiusz Piatek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Ildefonso Abalos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Utopía Muerta FC's Mano Hume played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Bouchard in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Arkadiusz Piatek made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Paraibano. FÊNIX F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Arkadiusz Piatek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Bengt Bouchard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mano Hume. Utopía Muerta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bengt Bouchard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Mano Hume showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Bouchard, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Utopía Muerta FC's Braulio Hibai dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. FÊNIX F.C.'s Genílson Ferraz was substituted for João Carlos Medeiros. Arkadiusz Piatek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 83 in the game by Braulio Hibai from a close distance when the talented Alfredo Paraibano managed to make a qualified save. FÊNIX F.C.'s players were relieved. Kauã Moreno struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Mano Hume didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FÊNIX F.C.. Utopía Muerta FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Armando Amarita in the 88th minute. FÊNIX F.C.'s Alfredo Paraibano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save FÊNIX F.C. from getting a goal against them. Bengt Bouchard's late challenge caught a Utopía Muerta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt Bouchard helped the player get up and apologised. Arkadiusz Piatek scored 1-6 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Paraibano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Piatek in the 96th minute of play forced FÊNIX F.C.'s goalkeeper Alfredo Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Utopía Muerta FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FÊNIX F.C. throughout the match.
