The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Dahlman in the 3rd minute of play forced Reapers CMN's goalkeeper Robert Poreda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The IKS Norrköping fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when IKS Norrköping's Stefan Fredriksson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 11 minutes into the match, Stefan Fredriksson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Robert Poreda, 2-0. Ulf Groth's late challenge caught a Reapers CMN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Sigfridsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateusz Dubiel in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Stefan Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Poreda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marcus Hedström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Henry Vennersten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Poreda made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Marcus Hedström sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th play minute Marcus Hedström came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Robert Poreda. 3-0. Marcus Hedström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Robert Poreda made a huge save. Mateusz Dubiel's late challenge caught a IKS Norrköping's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind IKS Norrköping's goalkeeper Emanuel Sigfridsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Marcus Hedström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IKS Norrköping fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 68 minutes into the match, Simon Dahlman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robert Poreda. In the 85th minute, Marcus Hedström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Poreda was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. IKS Norrköping's Simon Dahlman got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Reapers CMN's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Fredriksson came free, but Robert Poreda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that IKS Norrköping were the better team. IKS Norrköping's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
