After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Fellipe Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrenta SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fellipe Lago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Paraibano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Barrenta SC's Alfredo Paraibano threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fellipe Lago, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Barrenta SC's Agustín Tastzian in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FÊNIX F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Alfredo Paraibano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Paulo do Valle in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Di Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barrenta SC's Patric Isaksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Bouchard in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barrenta SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marquinhos Teixeira was slow to take the kick. During this time FÊNIX F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Marquinhos Teixeira made a great header on FÊNIX F.C.'s corner, it was just that Barrenta SC's Patric Isaksson managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Fellipe Lago kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfredo Paraibano. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Patric Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Moreno in the 17th minute of play. After 19 played minutes FÊNIX F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Teixeira. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Patric Isaksson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patric Isaksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauã Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28thth minute of the game Agustín Tastzian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FÊNIX F.C.'s Alfredo Paraibano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfredo Paraibano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustín Tastzian's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. If Fellipe Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustín Tastzian in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Paraibano saved FÊNIX F.C. from getting behind. 40 minutes into the game, Fellipe Lago recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfredo Paraibano. Fellipe Lago showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. FÊNIX F.C.'s Alfredo Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo do Valle in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Agustín Tastzian made the kick off in the second half. When Barrenta SC's Agustín Tastzian in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FÊNIX F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustín Tastzian in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Paraibano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 58 played minutes FÊNIX F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Martins. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustín Tastzian in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Paraibano saved FÊNIX F.C. from getting behind. Alfredo Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Di Marinho in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquinhos Teixeira in the 65th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Patric Isaksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Fellipe Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Moreno in the 82nd minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Patric Isaksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Kauã Moreno came free, but Patric Isaksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86th play minutes Agustín Tastzian shot 5-1, a short shot which went by Alfredo Paraibano and just under the crossbar into goal. Barrenta SC's Urban Stenman was substituted for Fellipe Lago. Barrenta SC made a substitution. Marcelinho Ramalho replaced Valdemar de Lima. Luiz Paulo do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Alfredo Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Tastzian in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Barrenta SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
