In the 10th minute, Marcinho Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 邱剑海 in the 12th minute of play. A&K SPARTA BRADFORD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Trent Arnold in the 13th minute. Beniamin Czermak hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Alfredo Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 邱剑海, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Marquinhos Teixeira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Borczak was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 33rd minute, Marquinhos Teixeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FÊNIX F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. FÊNIX F.C.'s Alfredo Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincente Acha in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Vincente Acha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt Bouchard in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Borczak saved A&K SPARTA BRADFORD from getting behind. Trent Arnold walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When the referee blew the final whistle, FÊNIX F.C. could leave the field as winners, despite A&K SPARTA BRADFORD having more of the ball for most of the match.
