The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arnoldo Donzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Bouchard in the 13th minute of the match. Arnoldo Donzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Bouchard in the 15th minute of play. Manoel Botelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Damian Fetor made a huge save. 16 minutes into the match, Manoel Botelho notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of FÊNIX F.C.'s Damian Fetor. Damian Fetor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnoldo Donzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Luz in the 21st minute of play. The throw-in from Elano Simões in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FÊNIX F.C.'s João Paulo Prata. Elano Simões made in the 25th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Liu Feng Quan however managed to control. After a defensive mix-up in FÊNIX F.C.'s zone, Liu Feng Quan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Fetor came out of the goal and Liu Feng Quan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnoldo Donzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Arnoldo Donzel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt Bouchard's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Luz in the 38th minute of play forced BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalkeeper Arnoldo Donzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Fetor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liu Feng Quan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liu Feng Quan in the 40th minute of play forced FÊNIX F.C.'s goalkeeper Damian Fetor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt Bouchard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Donzel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kauã Moreno during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 50 played minutes FÊNIX F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Kauã Moreno. In the 57th minute, Mauro Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt Bouchard got free with Arnoldo Donzel in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Velichko Duhalov made in the 63rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Elano Simões. In the 66th minute, FÊNIX F.C.'s João Carlos Medeiros seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed João Carlos Medeiros the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FÊNIX F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and João Carlos Medeiros had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to FÊNIX F.C. getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. João Carlos Medeiros hit a great ball. The supporters of BMB IMOVEIS SC booed when FÊNIX F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Carlos Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute of the match BMB IMOVEIS SC got a corner. FÊNIX F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernandão Gaúcho ran over to the corner to take the kick. A sloppy throw-in by Elano Simões in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FÊNIX F.C.'s Evaristo Martins. After 76 minutes of play, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Liu Feng Quan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damian Fetor was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th match minute, FÊNIX F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Bouchard to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elano Simões during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th minute, Elano Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Mauro Luz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Manoel Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
