The referee ignored Gonzo Style f.c's protests and gave Fulvio Chiavetta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute of the match Svartvallstjärnens IF got a corner. Gonzo Style f.c's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Björn Andberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Björn Andberg made a great header on Svartvallstjärnens IF's corner, it was just that Gonzo Style f.c's Lucas Savenije managed to reach the ball for a save. 10 minutes into the match, Svartvallstjärnens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Fulvio Chiavetta came free, but Edward Jönsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciccio Giusto hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Göran Cane struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Lucas Savenije didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Svartvallstjärnens IF. Gonzo Style f.c's Lucas Savenije played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Cane in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Lucas Savenije, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gonzo Style f.c's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Björn Andberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Svartvallstjärnens IF's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Kieth Isebergh managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Göran Cane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Savenije read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Lucas Savenije had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Göran Cane. Göran Cane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Savenije having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Göran Cane in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Savenije saved Gonzo Style f.c from getting behind. In the 26th minute of the match Svartvallstjärnens IF got a corner. Gonzo Style f.c's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Björn Andberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 30th minute, Cesare Di Loreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes Gonzo Style f.c got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Di Loreto. Göran Cane came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lucas Savenije could save by the left post. 34 minutes into the match, Gonzo Style f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Cane came free, but Lucas Savenije reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Savenije stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Göran Cane's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Cesare Di Loreto charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesare Di Loreto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gonzo Style f.c's Cesare Di Loreto got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Björn Andberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Per-Oskar Kihlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Lucas Savenije made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enrico Tassotti to strike the kick off in the second half. If Per-Oskar Kihlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lucas Savenije took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Cane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 55 minutes, Göran Cane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svartvallstjärnens IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göran Cane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute, Göran Cane ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Savenije was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Cesare Di Loreto hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Svartvallstjärnens IF made a substitution. Tore Svartström replaced Per-Oskar Kihlberg. After 66 played minutes Gonzo Style f.c got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Di Loreto. In the 67th minute Göran Cane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Savenije saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Göran Cane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Savenije didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Göran Cane went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 76th minute, Göran Cane ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Savenije was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 80th minute, Göran Cane ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Savenije was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Lucas Savenije showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Cane, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The Svartvallstjärnens IF fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Svartvallstjärnens IF's Göran Cane looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
