MARTHA Rossoneri Boldklub's Konrad Werra quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Loui Lintlav's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edward Jönsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Edward Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loui Lintlav in the 33rd minute of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind MARTHA Rossoneri Boldklub's goalkeeper Ferdinand Thurø, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by MARTHA Rossoneri Boldklub's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Björn Andberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Svartvallstjärnens IF's players had a chance to rest. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frans Jagur was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Svartvallstjärnens IF booed when MARTHA Rossoneri Boldklub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Lintlav didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Svartvallstjärnens IF's Frans Jagur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferdinand Thurø narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ferdinand Thurø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Jagur in the 60th minute of play. Otto Lintlav sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Svartvallstjärnens IF made a substitution. Elliott Malmberg replaced Nicklas Säf. Loui Lintlav could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Edward Jönsson made a huge save. Ferdinand Thurø came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Svartvallstjärnens IF's Göran Cane. But to his dismay, Göran Cane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loui Lintlav in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edward Jönsson saved Svartvallstjärnens IF from getting behind. In the 88th match minute, Svartvallstjärnens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Oskar Kihlberg to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinand Thurø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Cane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Edward Jönsson managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when MARTHA Rossoneri Boldklub's Otto Lintlav fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Svartvallstjärnens IF players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
