Manuel Prunaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Kristian Martinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseu Patrício hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s 黄洋榕 threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Augustin Magee, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Loic Bussière got a free kick in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the game, one of Fenerbahçe S.K.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Renato Queiroga shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Prunaru to make the kick off. After 64 minutes of play, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Loic Bussière made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 黄洋榕 was left in no man's land by his defense there! 68 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Loic Bussière sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 黄洋榕 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Cristiano Esparteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th match minute, Sporting Clube Palmela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Esparteiro to maneuver through the defense. 黄洋榕 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Magee in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Manuel Prunaru made a precise shot to the right of Kristian Martinsson. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Kristian Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Prunaru in the 85th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Augustin Magee put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of 黄洋榕. 黄洋榕 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Fremont, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Loic Bussière left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fenerbahçe S.K. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. When the referee ended the match the Fenerbahçe S.K. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
