Rodrigo Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marty Simpson, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Lapachito's Marty Simpson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-7. The Lapachito manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Machados FC V2 to win.
