The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arnoldo Balendin kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Saul Rioja managed to get in a good position for a shot. XENEIXES FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Rioja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kucandana Fastergaard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. XENEIXES FC were furious when Benigno Remir was red carded, 7 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 11 minutes, Vyacheslav Konopatov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the XENEIXES FC and the April 25 SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vyacheslav Konopatov kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After some careless play in the April 25 SC defense, Geronimo Tonio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kucandana Fastergaard. The April 25 SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kucandana Fastergaard should have stopped the shot. April 25 SC's Kucandana Fastergaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Tonio in the 17th minute of play. Geronimo Tonio took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kucandana Fastergaard. Kucandana Fastergaard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Marques in the 38th minute of play forced XENEIXES FC's goalkeeper Ivan Patrido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of April 25 SC booed when XENEIXES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Balendin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 林梁源 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Ivan Patrido made a huge save. Ivan Patrido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 played minutes XENEIXES FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Balendin. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geronimo Tonio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Esdras Mala hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Ivan Patrido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esdras Mala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquiles Ikatz kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Ivan Patrido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Zabalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Kucandana Fastergaard made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Geronimo Tonio sent off a good shot on target. XENEIXES FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aquiles Ikatz in the 80th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Saul Rioja heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Arturo Raymon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kucandana Fastergaard having to interfere. When Arturo Raymon came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the XENEIXES FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Raymon couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see April 25 SC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
