After 20 minutes of play, Cosa nostra Lyon's Junior Quintana made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo Amado was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the match, Recreativo FC®'s goal looked a bit too open when Félicien Boidin came free, but Evaristo Amado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo Amado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Junior Quintana went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Evaristo Amado came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Cosa nostra Lyon's Junior Quintana. But to his dismay, Junior Quintana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 33rd minute, Joe Plantin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute Félicien Boidin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Amado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vítor Polido charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vítor Polido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Vítor Polido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Uwe Birmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Amado. Recreativo FC®'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uwe Birmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Félicien Boidin in the 43rd minute of play forced Recreativo FC®'s goalkeeper Evaristo Amado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Cosa nostra Lyon's Félicien Boidin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evaristo Amado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-10 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Novais stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Uwe Birmes took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo Amado. Evaristo Amado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Félicien Boidin took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo Amado. After some careless play in the Recreativo FC® defense, Félicien Boidin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Amado. The Recreativo FC® fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Amado should have stopped the shot. Cosa nostra Lyon's Horia Şuplăcan was substituted for Uwe Birmes. Junior Quintana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Recreativo FC® getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Alda Correia hit a great ball. Recreativo FC®'s Evaristo Amado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Félicien Boidin in the 73rd minute of play. Evaristo Amado was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Horia Şuplăcan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Horia Şuplăcan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-16. Evaristo Amado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Félicien Boidin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-17 in the 80 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Evaristo Amado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 83rd minute, Cosa nostra Lyon's Horia Şuplăcan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-18. Junior Quintana was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Evaristo Amado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Junior Quintana in the 88th minute of the match. Pedro Lourenço hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Evaristo Amado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Best Jesus in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Horia Şuplăcan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Evaristo Amado. Horia Şuplăcan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-19.
