But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serdar Öğeturk couldn't finish the play. ALEXANDRIA's Godfredo Obano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baki İlbilge in the 21st minute of play. Godfredo Obano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sadettin Tunçkol was the one to do the kick off. Franco Orozco replaced Enrique Ilazki. The crowd rose to their feet as Feliciano Itzaina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Okan Muslera. That made the score 1-2 in the 73 minute of play. If Franco Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Okan Muslera was a little too slow when Feliciano Itzaina got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-4. Feliciano Itzaina took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Okan Muslera. Okan Muslera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5.
