Salvador Roland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Okan Muslera came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Plaza Jewell's Aristides Iratxo. But to his dismay, Aristides Iratxo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Aristides Iratxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Okan Muslera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Okan Muslera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Amato in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute Freddy Amato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okan Muslera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Plaza Jewell's Armando Azibar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Okan Muslera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Armando Azibar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Okan Muslera having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Freddy Amato put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Okan Muslera. After 20 minutes of play, Plaza Jewell's Salvador Roland made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Okan Muslera was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Evren Tanfer came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the FC SASA ILIC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evren Tanfer couldn't finish the play. Okan Muslera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Amato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Freddy Amato ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Okan Muslera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 43 minutes into the match, Freddy Amato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Okan Muslera. FC SASA ILIC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Freddy Amato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Lorenzo Mancio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Okan Muslera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Plaza Jewell were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Amato stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Aristides Iratxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okan Muslera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Okan Muslera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Iratxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC SASA ILIC booed when Plaza Jewell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Okan Muslera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Freddy Amato showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 61 minute of play. In the 69th minute, one of FC SASA ILIC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC SASA ILIC. The goalkeeper, Okan Muslera, was totally fooled by Plaza Jewell's Freddy Amato, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 77th minute of the match Plaza Jewell got a corner. FC SASA ILIC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristian Chivu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Cristian Chivu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Okan Muslera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Freddy Amatos short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Okan Muslera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Okan Muslera managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Plaza Jewell's Freddy Amato fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 81st minute of the match Plaza Jewell got a corner. FC SASA ILIC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristian Chivu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Cristian Chivu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Okan Muslera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Okan Muslera was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Salvador Roland capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Salvador Roland really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. In the 86th minute, FC SASA ILIC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Freddy Amato fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Salvador Roland who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Okan Muslera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. FC SASA ILIC's Okan Muslera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save FC SASA ILIC from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the game, Plaza Jewell's Freddy Amato nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Okan Muslera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-14. If Freddy Amato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Aytek Şükür hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristides Iratxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Okan Muslera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
