Oliver Lundin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in ALEXANDRIA's zone, Rasmus Gernberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godfredo Obano came out of the goal and Rasmus Gernberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the ALEXANDRIA defense, Rasmus Gernberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Godfredo Obano. The ALEXANDRIA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Godfredo Obano should have stopped the shot. In the 15th match minute, Doctors of Dental Surgery was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrik Allbom to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Doctors of Dental Surgery getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Valter Nilsson hit a great ball. Ulrik Allbom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Godfredo Obano made a huge save. In the 25th match minute, Doctors of Dental Surgery was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Willig to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, ALEXANDRIA's goal looked a bit too open when Rasmus Gernberg came free, but Godfredo Obano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godfredo Obano made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Rasmus Gernberg sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Itzaina in the 39th minute of play forced Doctors of Dental Surgery's goalkeeper Oliver Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Ilazki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Lundin having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Per-Åke Hjortsberg lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Doctors of Dental Surgery! When the match had been going on for 57 minutes, ALEXANDRIA's Feliciano Itzaina got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Oliver Lundin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliciano Itzaina in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oliver Lundin saved Doctors of Dental Surgery from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Geoffrey Verhelst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ALEXANDRIA made a substitution. Zeledon Salvino replaced Marciano Rocio. Oliver Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Itzaina in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, ALEXANDRIA's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Allbom came free, but Godfredo Obano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Michael Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oliver Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Orozco in the 88th minute of play. Valter Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils-Åke Hamnberg during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Doctors of Dental Surgery getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Nils-Åke Hamnberg hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliciano Itzaina got free with Oliver Lundin in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Franco Orozco came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the ALEXANDRIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franco Orozco couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ALEXANDRIA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
