The supporters of FC SASA ILIC booed when MALATYASPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evren Tanfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Bahattin Yetkiner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Yusuf Bahadır Mete was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MALATYASPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC SASA ILIC the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MALATYASPOR had won after a very even match.
