Lima Team:s Francisco Infante showed great skill when he stopped Feliciano Itzaina:s penalty. The supporters of ALEXANDRIA booed when Lima Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Lima Team's goalkeeper Francisco Infante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Ilazki. Godfredo Obano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Feliciano Itzaina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Infante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Itzaina in the 34th minute of the match. Gervasio Chorache took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Infante. Francisco Infante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 43 minutes, Enrique Ilazki made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lima Team's Francisco Infante tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd match minute, Lima Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herberto Caiado to maneuver through the defense. The ALEXANDRIA fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when ALEXANDRIA's Feliciano Itzaina looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 59 minutes into the game, ALEXANDRIA's Enrique Ilazki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Infante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Francisco Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Ilazki in the 62nd minute of play. Francisco Infante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Itzaina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 minutes of play, ALEXANDRIA's Feliciano Itzaina made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Infante was left in no man's land by his defense there! ALEXANDRIA made a substitution. Hugo Maia replaced Geoffrey Verhelst. ALEXANDRIA made a substitution. The ALEXANDRIA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lima Team had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
