Atalan Tunçkaya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliciano Itzaina's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Franco Orozco might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atalan Tunçkaya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franco Orozco ran back to his position shaking his head. Atalan Tunçkaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Chorache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes ALEXANDRIA got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Chorache. After 44 played minutes FC SASA ILIC got a freekick which was hit by Vahap Gümüşcüoğlu. Atalan Tunçkaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Itzaina, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute ALEXANDRIA were awarded a corner. Feliciano Itzaina went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Geoffrey Verhelst got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Atalan Tunçkaya quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

FC SASA ILIC's Atalan Tunçkaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Itzaina in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 minutes FC SASA ILIC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Feliciano Itzaina who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on ALEXANDRIA's corner Feliciano Itzaina fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Atalan Tunçkaya quite easily take care of the ball. Atalan Tunçkaya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. ALEXANDRIA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
