The crowd rose to their feet as Lima Team's Jacob Barroso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dagoberto Veiga. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vicente Azevedo to make the kick off. Vicente Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Infante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lima Team:s Francisco Infante showed great skill when he stopped Giovanni Custódio:s penalty. Giovanni Custódio took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Infante. Francisco Infante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
