Osvaldo Fontana kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Igor Jokin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornel Filimon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 42ndth minute of the game Igor Jokin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's Cornel Filimon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cornel Filimon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Jokin in the 43rd minute of the match. Cornel Filimon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Jokin went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Jokin made a kick off. Igor Jokin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cornel Filimon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Igor Jokin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cornel Filimon. That made the score 0-6 in the 55 minute of play. Lázaro Cefero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cornel Filimon having to make a save. 60 minutes into the match, CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's goalkeeper Cornel Filimon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lázaro Cefero. Karl-Åke Sandwall made in the 66th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lázaro Cefero. After a rather tough play, CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's Lucero Cabrera got a free kick in the 70th minute. Aldo Beltxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Fontana in the 85th minute of the match. Cornel Filimon was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Zeledon Valiente capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zeledon Valiente really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Zeledon Valiente's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cornel Filimon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Zeledon Valiente took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Cornel Filimon to make any attempt to save it. Marno F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
