Pío Daneri might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisito Ramirez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pío Daneri ran back to his position shaking his head. Luisito Ramirez came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by INGOBERNABLE F.C's Martin Retana. But to his dismay, Martin Retana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pío Daneri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Martin Retana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luisito Ramirez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Retana, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Martin Retana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 18th minute Martin Retana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Ramirez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Martin Retana made a precise shot to the right of Luisito Ramirez. Hortensia FCG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Pío Daneri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luisito Ramirez having to make a save. After 24 played minutes INGOBERNABLE F.C got a freekick which was hit by Xosepin Mendi. 29 minutes into the game, Xosepin Mendi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Hortensia FCG's Natalio Abreu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 31st minute, Martin Retana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luisito Ramirez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Martin Retana scored 0-4 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luisito Ramirez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes into the game, Martin Retana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Luisito Ramirez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the match, Martin Retana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisito Ramirez. Hortensia FCG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Retana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 51 played minutes Hortensia FCG got a freekick which was hit by Damian Austin. Martin Retana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Ramirez having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Luisito Ramirez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When INGOBERNABLE F.C's Martin Retana in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hortensia FCG's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as INGOBERNABLE F.C's Martin Retana slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luisito Ramirez. That made the score 0-7 after 57 minutes of play. INGOBERNABLE F.C made a substitution. Fidel Martínez replaced Pío Daneri. In the 61st minute, INGOBERNABLE F.C's Martin Retana dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. 64 minutes into the game, Martin Retana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Luisito Ramirez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luisito Ramirez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Retana, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hortensia FCG's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alfonso Frances was slow to take the kick. During this time INGOBERNABLE F.C's players had a chance to rest. In the 73rd play minute Martin Retana came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luisito Ramirez. 0-10. After some careless play in the Hortensia FCG defense, Martin Retana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luisito Ramirez. The Hortensia FCG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luisito Ramirez should have stopped the shot. Luisito Ramirez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Martínez in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Hortensia FCG's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Retana came free, but Luisito Ramirez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hortensia FCG's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Martin Retana scored to the left of an out of position Luisito Ramirez, making the score, 0-12. In the 88th minute Martin Retana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Ramirez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, INGOBERNABLE F.C's Armando Sando ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luisito Ramirez. Luisito Ramirez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-14. The Hortensia FCG fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. INGOBERNABLE F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
