After 73 minutes of play San Martin de Tucumán's Mariano Loi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of VALPICA C.F. booed when San Martin de Tucumán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Loi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, San Martin de Tucumán's goal looked a bit too open when Medero Nadal came free, but Feliciano Chorche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Quique Bacete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. VALPICA C.F. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
