When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Guilherme Garcia sped through GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elder de Toledo. In the 15th minute, Lucas Vidal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elder de Toledo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Elder de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celsinho Messias in the 20th minute of play. Stipe Krznar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stipe Krznar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Grönlund having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Stipe Krznar took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Edgar Grönlund to make any attempt to save it. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Mile Šljivar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lúcio Simão, made in the 29th minute of the game. Edgar Grönlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislav Miškić, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Celsinho Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Elder de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Habilirows's Lucas Vidal got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lucas Vidal fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Habilirows's protests and gave Lucas Vidal a yellow card for diving instead. Lucas Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The Habilirows fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Habilirows's Guilherme Garcia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edgar Grönlund came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Gradimir Juraga. But to his dismay, Gradimir Juraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Guilherme Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Grönlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stipe Krznar in the 47th minute of the match. The GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Habilirows were winning 2-3.

The wind increased when Celsinho Messias made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mile Šljivar to maneuver through the defense. Guilherme Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder de Toledo having to interfere. Arda Göksel Başkaynak charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arda Göksel Başkaynak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ booed when Habilirows was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arda Göksel Başkaynak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Grönlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stipe Krznar in the 55th minute of play. Guilherme Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elder de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd match minute, Habilirows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Grönlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stipe Krznar's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Stipe Krznar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgar Grönlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stipe Krznar in the 80th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Habilirows got a freekick which was hit by Saba Bodø. Edgar Grönlund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stipe Krznar went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Stipe Krznar got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute Celsinho Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
