The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Rafael Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Leão in the 5th minute of play forced GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s goalkeeper Elder de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Leão scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elder de Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Elder de Toledo got control of the ball when Lorenzo James tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Rafael Leão dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elder de Toledo, 2-0. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Gürcan Orguntay quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ali Nabi Süleyman, made in the 20th minute of the game. A collision led to Menang Kalah Tawuran getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ali Nabi Süleyman hit a great ball. Lorenzo James did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Elder de Toledo 28 minutes into the match. Menang Kalah Tawuran's Rafael Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elder de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorenzo James had several of the GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Elder de Toledo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bela Negara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stipe Krznar in the 44th minute of play. Lorenzo James in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elder de Toledo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Zachary Parzysz made the kick off in the second half. If Zachary Parzysz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Rafael Leão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elder de Toledo was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Elder de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo James, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustaw Brzonkala during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Menang Kalah Tawuran's Gustaw Brzonkala got a free kick in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Stipe Krznar managed to get in a good position for a shot. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Stipe Krznar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bela Negara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Elder de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo James in the 64th minute of play. Elder de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Leão in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Lorenzo James shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bela Negara made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Zachary Parzysz sent off a good shot on target. Rafael Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Elder de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Lino Budimir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Rafael Leão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elder de Toledo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After 94 played minutes Menang Kalah Tawuran got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Leão. The long shot by Ibrica Madunić in the 95th minute really tested Bela Negara's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. There was no doubt that Menang Kalah Tawuran were the better team. Menang Kalah Tawuran's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
