With a little luck, RAMBO FC's Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez got control of the ball when David Mikulandra tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Sancho Mujica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The tension between the RAMBO FC and the GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Mikulandra to make the kick off. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Šimunko, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. If Boris Burkhart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boris Burkhart hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 80th match minute, RAMBO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaizki Chirivoga to maneuver through the defense. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
