The audience thought a goal was coming when Baturhan Oytun got free with Julian Roland in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serginho Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Sakowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guga Trancoso to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 50 minutes, Bacary Ligier put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Serginho Nogueira. Fernandinho Mesquita replaced Demis Katsarolidis. Julian Roland came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by PIAUÍ FC's Mete Gøl. But to his dismay, Mete Gøl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bacary Ligier got free with Serginho Nogueira in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Mete Gøl sped through Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julian Roland. After a rather tough play, Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's Wawrzyniec Sakowicz got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PIAUÍ FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
