In the 30th minute, Peter Lundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enzo Gora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Forest Green's Domingos Dolcet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Furlan in the 36th minute of play. Oscar Furlan struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Domingos Dolcet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rocky Balboa F.C.. 46 minutes into the game, Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Olgierd Jazwiec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domingos Dolcet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jem Jajecznica was the one to do the kick off. Lisandro Loreto kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Forest Green's Jem Jajecznica got a free kick in the 54th minute. Domingos Dolcet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olgierd Jazwiec in the 69th minute. Forest Green's Domingos Dolcet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Forest Green from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute, Oscar Furlan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jem Jajecznica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Veto having to interfere.
