Carmo De Kiev's Laerte de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo León in the 21st minute of play. Claudinho Neves hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Carmo De Kiev's zone, Szymon Labus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilfredo León in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laerte de Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo León in the 31st minute of play forced F.C. Carmo De Kiev's goalkeeper Laerte de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Sancho Andres suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Jean Souza fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. Carmo De Kiev's protests and gave Jean Souza a yellow card for diving instead. White Star Troopers made a substitution. Tadeusz Buda replaced Sancho Andres. After 33 played minutes F.C. In the 60th minute of the match, Klaas Jan van der Meer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Laerte de Barros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gustaw Cisek hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes, F.C. Carmo De Kiev's Claudinho Neves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zbigniew Laba came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C. Carmo De Kiev reached it. Laerte de Barros made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Wilfredo León sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartosz Bentkowski got free with Laerte de Barros in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th match minute, F.C. Carmo De Kiev was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago Arantes to maneuver through the defense. Laerte de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo León in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, F.C. Carmo De Kiev's goalkeeper Laerte de Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilfredo León. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of F.C. Thanks to some nice moves Klaas Jan van der Meer could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Laerte de Barros however easily saved by the left post. 90 minutes into the game, Emerson Prado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Carmo De Kiev's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave White Star Troopers the free kick. The supporters of White Star Troopers booed when F.C. Carmo De Kiev was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laerte de Barros acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Szymon Labus. Wilfredo León took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laerte de Barros. Laerte de Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 96 played minutes White Star Troopers got a freekick which was hit by Bartlomiej Ludwiczak. White Star Troopers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
