PaoK Neapoleos's Isidoros Tsagarakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Cwynar in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panagiotis Psaris in the 17th minute of play forced Piotrków Trybunalski's goalkeeper Carlinhos Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PaoK Neapoleos were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Piotrków Trybunalski's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dawid Kosakowski took the corner. The corner led to PaoK Neapoleos's Panos Barbagiannis getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Isidoros Tsagarakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Polmone in the 21st minute of the match. Isidoros Tsagarakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmine Polmone in the 25th minute of play. PaoK Neapoleos's Isidoros Tsagarakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Polmone in the 25th minute of play. Argyris Stokas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Carlinhos Freitas made a huge save. Argyris Stokas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Carlinhos Freitas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Dawid Kosakowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes, Piotrków Trybunalski's Jerzy Kaszubik shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isidoros Tsagarakis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Piotrków Trybunalski reached it. In the 33rd minute Francisco Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoros Tsagarakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piotrków Trybunalski's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jerzy Kaszubik in the 37th minute. A nice corner shot did that Jerzy Kaszubik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Isidoros Tsagarakis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikolaj Cwynar in the 40th minute of play forced PaoK Neapoleos's goalkeeper Isidoros Tsagarakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Piotrków Trybunalski's Trifon Karagiannis in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PaoK Neapoleos's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Argyris Stokas to make the kick off. Carlinhos Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panagiotis Psaris, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Piotrków Trybunalski's Carlinhos Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panos Barbagiannis in the 53rd minute of play. PaoK Neapoleos made a substitution. Vassilis Kyriakas replaced Panagiotis Psaris. Vassilis Roubakis kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Carlinhos Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vassilis Kyriakas, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Carmine Polmone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidoros Tsagarakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Mikolaj Cwynar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmine Polmone in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidoros Tsagarakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Vassilis Kyriakas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Francisco Godoy could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Isidoros Tsagarakis however easily saved by the left post. 90 minutes into the match, PaoK Neapoleos's goal looked a bit too open when Carmine Polmone came free, but Isidoros Tsagarakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlinhos Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panos Barbagiannis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 played minutes Piotrków Trybunalski got a freekick which was hit by Trifon Karagiannis. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. PaoK Neapoleos had won after a very even match.
