The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Azam Sum made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Gilberto Nayely sent off a good shot on target. Amado Jordão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Åberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Elpidio Chap hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Gilberto Nayely got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Gilberto Nayely managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Punk Fiction's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Nayely was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilberto Nayely's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Azam Sum read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Moodys IF's Azam Sum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Moodys IF from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 51st minute, Gilberto Nayely ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Azam Sum was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Punk Fiction from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Gilberto Nayely put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Azam Sum. Azam Sum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Nayely's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Moodys IF's Azam Sum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Nayely in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute Brian May shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Jordão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amado Jordão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian May, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Åke Johansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 played minutes Moodys IF got a freekick which was hit by Barnabás Selymes. Andreas Carlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Amado Jordão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Moodys IF's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Nayely came free, but Azam Sum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amado Jordão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boris Browald in the 87th minute. Gilberto Nayely scored 4-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Azam Sum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilberto Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Punk Fiction support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
