Amado Jordão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josemir Lujambio in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Pastor Nofre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amado Jordão. Punk Fiction's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pastor Nofre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Punk Fiction's Astor Urtun got a free kick in the 19th minute. Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eufemio Yabbarov in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Punk Fiction's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Nofre came free, but Amado Jordão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitor Tejedor got free with Amado Jordão in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute Josemir Lujambio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Jordão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Nayely's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimundo Feliu was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Faustino Abajas put in a rough tackle. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
