In the 13th minute of the match J.J Huge shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sándor Koós showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitor Tejedor in the 17th minute of play forced Arthur Morgan´s Club's goalkeeper Sándor Koós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Gomar hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Feliz in the 21st minute of play forced Atlético Argentino's goalkeeper Raimundo Feliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Atlético Argentino's Vitor Tejedor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sándor Koós made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Clodoveo Feliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
Atlético Argentino's Luis Vázquez was substituted for Pastor Nofre. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Calleri was the one to do the kick off.
