João Carlos Mesquita might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arsenio Cordeal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Carlos Mesquita ran back to his position shaking his head. Meng Yu Hui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaden Hutton in the 20th minute of play. Arsenio Cordeal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Carlos Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Vergaray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Meng Yu Hui made a huge save. João Carlos Mesquita scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arsenio Cordeal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. João Carlos Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aaden Hutton made a kick off. Meng Yu Hui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kåre Uter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goal looked a bit too open when Kåre Uter came free, but Meng Yu Hui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
