Zhang Hao Qing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Salbatore in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute Flavio Cifuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavio Cifuentes in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte de Sena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flavio Cifuentes might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duarte de Sena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The Club Atlético Ituzaingó fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duarte de Sena should have stopped the shot. Mattias Wickander kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Taltum FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
