In the 15th minute of the game, Sérgio da Silva landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Samuel Wallengren fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kümbetspor FK's protests and gave Samuel Wallengren a yellow card for diving instead. Chester Bennington's Poyraz Sunay was substituted for Sérgio da Silva. In the 16th match minute, Kümbetspor FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Wallengren to maneuver through the defense. Kümbetspor FK's Kutalp Yağızkurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Bertassi in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chester Bennington's Poyraz Sunay got a free kick in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo Machado in the 22nd minute of play forced Kümbetspor FK's goalkeeper Kutalp Yağızkurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kutalp Yağızkurt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack-Peter Grealish, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubinho Bertassi in the 26th minute of play forced Kümbetspor FK's goalkeeper Kutalp Yağızkurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Kümbetspor FK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Hadi Demiralp hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Poyraz Sunay in the 43rd minute of play forced Kümbetspor FK's goalkeeper Kutalp Yağızkurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kutalp Yağızkurt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Theo Machado went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The Kümbetspor FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chester Bennington were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jack-Peter Grealish stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Theo Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Kutalp Yağızkurt made a huge save. In the 54th minute, Chester Bennington's Jack-Peter Grealish dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. In the 57th minute, Jack-Peter Grealish reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kutalp Yağızkurt. The goal made the score 0-6. Nebi Şevket kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Chester Bennington's Zé Carlos Vale tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Poyraz Sunay in the 62nd minute of play forced Kümbetspor FK's goalkeeper Kutalp Yağızkurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kutalp Yağızkurt was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Jack-Peter Grealish capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jack-Peter Grealish really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Kutalp Yağızkurt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jack-Peter Grealish showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 66 minute of play. With an all-out effort, Chester Bennington's Kutalp Yağızkurt threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jack-Peter Grealish, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zé Carlos Vale was slow to take the kick. During this time Chester Bennington's players had a chance to rest. Zé Carlos Vale made a great header on Chester Bennington's corner, it was just that Kümbetspor FK's Kutalp Yağızkurt managed to reach the ball for a save. 88 minutes into the match, Kümbetspor FK's goalkeeper Kutalp Yağızkurt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Theo Machado. Chester Bennington were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
