Gao Fei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justino Santos went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 11 minutes into the game, Dragons AFC's Jo-Wilfried Schouten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gao Fei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 13 played minutes Dragons AFC got a freekick which was hit by Donato Barbosa. The audience was convinced that Marin Luican's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lorenzo Beckman was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Giorgian De Arrascaeta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 20 minutes of play, Dragons AFC's Jo-Wilfried Schouten made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gao Fei was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gao Fei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jo-Wilfried Schouten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute of the game Marco Guerau made a throw-in which Marco Guerau played forward. After 28 minutes of play, Dragons AFC's Jo-Wilfried Schouten made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gao Fei was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Real Racing Club getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Oso Sigali hit a great ball. Jo-Wilfried Schouten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Real Racing Club booed when Dragons AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Lico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesar Cordairo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Dragons AFC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Jo-Wilfried Schouten got free with Gao Fei in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jo-Wilfried Schouten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Gao Fei made a huge save. Real Racing Club's Gao Fei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jo-Wilfried Schouten in the 59th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Real Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Celso Maldonado. After 67 minutes of play, Dragons AFC's Jo-Wilfried Schouten made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gao Fei was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Jo-Wilfried Schouten got free with Gao Fei in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Racing Club's goalkeeper Gao Fei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cesar Cordairo made in the 74th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ismael Brun however managed to control. A collision led to Dragons AFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Marco Guerau hit a great ball. Jo-Wilfried Schouten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gao Fei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Jo-Wilfried Schouten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gao Fei having to make a save. Jo-Wilfried Schouten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Gao Fei made a huge save. After 87 played minutes Real Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Marin Luican. When the final whistle sounded Dragons AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Real Racing Club.
