After 20 played minutes Ireland 1921 got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Policarpio. Lorenzo Beckman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Bilbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Dragons AFC's Florentino Guib got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 29th minute of the match Dragons AFC got a corner. Ireland 1921's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicasio Gomesano ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Dragons AFC's Lorenzo Beckman got control of the ball when Boguslaw Kaider tried to sneak it across the goal line.
