A sloppy throw-in by Stephan De Vriendt in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fillos de Breogán's Yağızalp Ulaş. Eddy Worrall hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Duardo Montero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eddy Worrall got free with Garibaldo Quijana in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After 57 played minutes Jonathan Livingston ⚜️ got a freekick which was hit by Zeki Çelik. With a little luck, Jonathan Livingston ⚜️'s Cafer Demirsah got control of the ball when Gelacio Campomanes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Birkan Cam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Garibaldo Quijana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domeka Paredes got free with Cafer Demirsah in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domeka Paredes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cafer Demirsah having to make a save.
